La Estrella SF

2009 Bay Oldenburg Mare - 16hh

Looking for your event horse? Stella loves to jump, is bold and can win the dressage phase with her elastic gaits. This beautiful young mare is forward and eager. “Stella” is smart and has a fabulous work ethic. If you are looking for a youngster that wants to learn and has a heart to try whatever you ask of her, then take a look at this one.  She is green broke and very willing.

La Estrella's pedigree reads like the who's who of international show jumping: Contendro I, Linaro/Landgraf, Agincourt/Abullah, and Wanderer.  Both sides of La Estrella’s pedigree have proven eventers and Grand Prix jumpers. Her grand sire Agincourt, ridden by Hap Hansen, was successful in jumpers, hunters and dressage.  With the top Holstein blood of Linaro, this mare is bred to be versatile.

Acontender is by versatile sire Agincourt. Ridden by Hap Hansen, Agincourt won both in High Jumpers and hunters, before competing at FEI dressage. His sire, the Olympic Gold medalist Abdullah provides a strong, accomplished linage. Acontender’s dam side brings some of the best German sport blood in Pik Solo and the late, great Landgraf.

Linaro is Mr. GQ of the Verband stallions. He has no self image problems! As champion stallion of his 100 Day test in 1991. Linaro went on to the German riding horse championships in Verden.

Linaro produces just about more Premium foals every year than anyone else. His offspring are characterized by their legginess and unmistakable beauty. He is also able to pass on his dark brown color, huge, elastic movement and jumping prowess. Linaro produced the 1997 Holsteiner Champion Stallion at the approvals in Neumunster, Germany.

Of all Holsteiner stallions presented to the Hannoverian Verband for approval as improvement sires , the Hannoverian Verband chose only Contender and Linaro. They chose Linaro because he adds ' elegance and movement', to warmblood mares.

EM Francesca is by Wanderer out of a Pik Solo dam. Francesca was a competition horse and broodmare representing her dam in the best tradition. Cheska's sire Wanderer was noted for producing both outstanding jumping and dressage horses, a top 10 sire for his age group. Cheska's character and temperament are a great combination of gentle and sensitive. She was a super show horse because of her calmness on the ground, yet she was fiercely competitive in the jumper ring.

At her Hanoverian mare inspection she scored 8's for elasticity, impulsion, and overall development and impression. At her AHS Mare Performance Test she scored an overall 7.72 with 10/9 jumping. Co-winner of the Benchmark Award as best jumping mare in 2004. Inducted into the AHS Jumper Breeding Program. Dr. Ludwig Christmann, Deputy Breeding Director for the German Hanoverian Verband described her as having very good legs-front and hind, well balanced, athletic with excellent movement. Gert von der Veen of the KWPN (Holland) gave Francesca the most "double x's" (very good) of all demonstration horses presented during the USDF judges training program.
